Coming back to Paint Louis for my second year was already something I was looking forward to.

The first time around had left a big impression on me. Miles of walls, artists from everywhere, music, food, graffiti in every direction, and more talent than you could possibly take in during one weekend.

This year became even more meaningful.

Thanks to my homie Tox-M, I had the opportunity to participate in the CBS production.

Initially, I thought I was mainly going to help with the background and contribute wherever the crew needed me.

Then I got the opportunity to paint a character of my own.

That was a big moment for me.

Productions are different from painting your own individual wall. Everybody is contributing one part to something much larger, and each artist brings their own strengths to help create one complete mural.

For this production, I got to paint alongside NVEST, ADEPT, DATSO, MANTA, TOX-M, FOURENR, and KEYES, with everyone coming together from different states.

It felt like one big reunion.

Everybody had their own role, style, and approach, but once the entire production came together, all those individual pieces became part of one massive image.

That is one of the things I really enjoy about working on productions.

You still get to be yourself, but you also have to think about how your piece contributes to everything happening around it.

The entire Paint Louis experience was inspiring again.

You could walk what felt like miles and continue seeing wall after wall after wall covered in artwork. Different generations, different styles, different crews, and artists coming from all over to paint in the same place.

I was mind blown.

I was inspired.

I was humbled.

Sometimes being surrounded by that much talent reminds you how far you have come while also showing you how much more there is to learn and explore.

There were plenty of good moments away from the wall too.

The food was great, the music was good, the people were awesome, and I enjoyed getting to experience St. Louis again.

And yes, I went back for the biscuits and chicken from that gas station that left an impression on me the year before.

I had to.

Another cool surprise happened when I picked up one of the Paint Louis magazines and realized I had been featured in the previous year’s edition.

Of course I had to grab a copy.

It was one of those unexpected little moments that made returning for a second year feel even more full circle.

Then came one of the biggest moments of the trip.

I was put on to CBS.

Being welcomed into a crew with that kind of history and surrounded by artists whose work I respect was an honor.

The year before, I had gone to Paint Louis not even expecting to have a wall and ended up getting space alongside CBS.

A year later, I came back and painted as part of their production.

That progression means a lot to me.

Big shout out to Tox-M for continuing to open doors and bring me into these experiences, and shout out to NVEST, ADEPT, DATSO, MANTA, FOURENR, KEYES, and everybody else involved in the production.

Another year at Paint Louis.

Another great experience.

And this time, another family to represent.
