Caleb & Chris Memorial
I met Caleb during the Lessons in Fresh event. Very cool dude! Throughout the night I remember getting to know him and talked about doing a collab on a mural, skating slash mural in the background. Caleb and Chris were prominent figures in the local skating scene, local legends. I should have done a time-lapse of the mural, is what Caleb recommended me to have done. The following week, Caleb and Chris would take a trip to float the river. On their way back, they got into a car accident that costed them their life. Rest in Peace, gone but not forgotten.
This piece went on to be featured on a later project where I got to do a documentary for the local graff scene. Shout out to Circle Cinema for taking a chance on me and letting me exhibit for the month of May in 2022.
The mural process was made possible by Miles Rogoish, also a local legend and artist. Between me, him, and Soundpony, we were able to create this mural along with the logo on top and “Cold Beer” sign. VNICE and Miles Rogoish, AKA MRFACE, would go on to create.
