Auto Design Sign | MK Auto Design

20' × 15' | Aerosol on stucco

My friends at MK Auto Design commissioned me to paint their signage directly onto the front of their building. They do excellent work, from vehicle wraps and window tinting to custom automotive projects, so it was great to have an opportunity to contribute something to their own space.

The project came about because they were facing a problem with the stucco surface of the building. Printing and applying their signage as a large vinyl graphic was not going to work, so they needed another solution.

That solution was to paint it.

This project meant a lot because they were trusting me with something that would become a very visible and important part of their business. Unlike some of my more expressive mural work, this required precision. The design needed to represent their brand accurately, read clearly from a distance, and look like it belonged on the building.

Perfect execution was the expectation, and I was glad I could step in, solve the problem, and make it happen.

Projects like this showed me another side of what I could offer through my work. Sometimes the job is about creative freedom and expression. Other times, it is about using those same skills to find a practical solution and execute a client's vision with confidence.

Shout out to my friends at MK Auto Design for trusting me with such an important part of their business.
