“Berry” the Bear | Demi

This project came about unexpectedly while I was helping out on another artist’s commission.
I had gone out to the property to put a fresh coat of paint on a container that Sker was going to use for one of his graffiti pieces. The owner learned a little more about me and my own work, and that eventually led to another opportunity on the property.
They hired me to paint this bear on the side of their shed.
We ended up calling him Berry.
This one was simply fun.
The setting itself made the project enjoyable too. Being out in Bixby and away from some of the busier areas I normally work in gave the whole project a different atmosphere. It was quiet, relaxed, and almost felt like a small getaway while I painted.
Sometimes those projects are refreshing.
There was not a complicated story or a huge production behind it. It was just an opportunity to create something playful, spend some time painting in a chill environment, and leave another piece of artwork somewhere unexpected.
