Milk Crate Jam | Plaza Walls

In March 2026, I was invited back to Plaza Walls to participate in their Milk Crate Jam.
It was good to be back.
I got to catch up with friends, paint, and spend the day around music, food, breakdancing, and a lot of familiar faces from the scene.
This event leaned more toward graffiti writing, so I decided to use it as an opportunity to focus on letters and try something different.
For my piece, I painted VNICE in a style I had not really explored before.
I like switching things up and trying different approaches whenever I get the chance. I do not always want my lettering or murals to look the same from one project to the next, so events like this are a good place to experiment and see where something new might go.
And somehow, once again, I ended up painting a green piece.
At this point, I think green just keeps finding me.
I added a white outline and a 3D effect that helped the letters pop from the wall and gave the piece more depth.
My assigned spot had a tree sitting directly in front of part of the wall, which made things a little more interesting while painting, but being right in the main area made it worth it.
I was close to all the action.
I could still catch the breakdancing, hear the music, and see everything happening around me while I worked.
That is one of the things I enjoy about events like this. You are painting, but you are also part of everything happening around the wall.
The hospitality was great again, and after the jam a group of us ended up at Radbar to hang out and keep the night going.
Good paint, good people, good music.
Overall, just a good time and another reason I always enjoy coming back to Plaza Walls.
